Local Artists, Local Stories

We started Local Takes on a mission to connect artists and their communities through documentary storytelling.

Fortunately, we found artists who share that vision, enough to open their doors and share their journeys with us. In our short documentary films, artists discuss their life and work, their challenges and revelations, and the stories that have shaped them.

We believe the stories we tell connect us, inspire us, and build our future. We are humbled by the conversations we’ve had with these artists, and excited to share their stories with our community and the world.
