Local Takes is a documentary series that explores the lives and creative pursuits of Southern artists. In 2019 the team interviewed artists in Spartanburg, South Carolina and from these intimate conversations, crafted six short documentaries. The films premiered in Spartanburg, screened at film festivals in the Carolinas, and are now live on YouTube.

Aaron is a creative director and filmmaker, and owner of Aaron Pate Media. In addition to commercial media production, his experience spans feature and short films, music videos, and documentary.
