Roderice Cardell, “TheMadddArtist,” was a painter, musician, and performer. In 2019 we visited his studio to find out more about the man behind the motorcycle helmet. He didn’t hold back; we talked about anger, and we talked about chaos. He used art to heal, for self-discovery, and to share that inner struggle with others. TheMadddArtist chose to transform anger and chaos into beauty and understanding.
Roderice passed away January 2 2021, but his work persists and will continue to inspire our community. Learning from him and telling his story through this film was a great honor, and we hope his words will continue to inspire.
